Fresh WANIC / WANIC Toolkit

4

Our key concept is to develop an enjoyable, safe, easy and sustainable tool to generate income. We note value of the local people as well as employment and industry development, and aim to develop the tools to generate income in order to achieve development based on their fun and happiness and to acquire basic infrastructures by them. Thus, we focus coconuts which exist abundantly in Timor-Leste. We develop a tool kit to make original and tasty coconuts juice based wine called “wanic”, and offer this toolkit to entrepreneurs. They make wanic and sell it to the wealthy people at hotels or restaurants. In addition, we aim to make our products using only local materials and local technologies to manufacture the tool kit. This enables the generation of surrounding businesses. We emphasize the variety of ways that this product can be beneficial: (1) a new usage for coconuts, (2) a new locally made alcohol beverage, and mostly (3) new opportunities. However we hope that the value of it should be specified based on the dialogues with the local people instead our intrusive propose of the value.
